Puppy Products At Sweet Paws

Congratulations on your new puppy! Be sure to send me a photo & any questions you have! Most of my treats, toppers etc are great for puppies! I have some chews that I would suggest for teething, and some treats I'd advise you to wait on until puppy is older. Here is the collection perfect for puppies. All puppies (and adult dogs!) need to be supervised when given any treat or toy. Anything your puppy can get their mouths on becomes a choking hazards. For soft or crunchy bite sized snacks, your puppy will likely be able to figure out they need to crunch at it a few times then swallow.  But for treats like bully sticks, duck heads, pig ears, or even yeti cheese chews (all great snacks) you'll definitely want to be present to monitor their chew style & make sure they don't try to suck on it and swallow it or make sure it doesn't get stuck in their mouth somehow (it's possible!) Most puppies are wise and learned things from their mom - but it's now your job to keep an eye on them and teach them the ways of the world! If you have questions on treat sizing, ASK! This can depend on your dogs age, size & chew style. 

Duck heads, yeti cheese chews, gullet bully snaps, turkey necks, etc - suggested for puppies 25+ weeks - MUST SUPERVISE - to be safe, if your puppy gets to the end of these chews and there is a small chunk left, simply take it away to avoid them trying to swallow it whole - I do this for adult dogs too!

Supplements - Puppy Supplement (12-7months old) Flea tick/worms/runs/milk thistle, etc 30 + weeks with guidance from Vet or Mel to be sure you aren't giving too many supps at once - reach out with questions!
